Find out your Personal Risk Speed Limit

Riskalyze is a program that we use in at ChappelWood in order to analyze a client's ability and comfort with risk in their financial portfolio. This quiz takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and is best done with your initial answers rather than thinking too hard over the questions. Within 5 minutes, you will have a pretty good idea of how willing you are to have risk in your financial plan as well as how much risk you can afford to take. In order to appropriately plan for your financial road map and set realistic goals, you must first know where you are starting from. We encourage every individual to take this quick assessment and review your results with your financial advisor. Visit www.chappelwood.com for the link to the quiz in the right side of the screen.

Find out if your personal information is being sold on the dark web

September of 2017, one of the three credit reporting agencies, Equifax, reported one of the most massive security breaches in U.S. History. One hundred and forty-three Americans learned that their personal information was made potentially stolen by cyber criminals, including; social security numbers, birth dates, addresses, credit card numbers, etc. There are five easy steps to ensure that your private information is protected.

  1. Run your credit report

www.annualcreditreport.com is a free report agency which makes it quick and easy to obtain your credit report to review

  1. Set fraud alerts

We recommend using Experian as you can set up alerts that will let TransUnion and Equifax know as well.

  1. Run a Dark Web email search for your information

Experian currently offers a free Dark Web Email Scan. Visit www.experian.com or we can send you the link. Running this scan takes a few minutes. You enter your email address, check your email for a secure link to your report and view results on a secured site.

  1. Don't Email sensitive information and shred receipts and statements you don't need anymore

When you are diligent about protecting your information, it makes it more difficult for cyber criminals to obtain your sensitive information

  1. Consider a credit monitoring service

For just $10/month, Experian will scan the Dark Web for other personal information and we also recommend using Lifelock or a service such as Lifelock to protect your entire family.
